About Us

In 1967, Albie and Helen were thrust into ministry shortly after a serious injury curtailed Albie’s baseball career. God had prepared them both to follow the Spirit wherever He should lead and so they became pioneers into new ways of “doing church,” “doing ministry” and how to live a supernaturally natural lifestyle.

Out of Albie and Helen’s brokenness and their profound encounters with the Holy Spirit, they developed a dependence upon Him that has never wained. He led them into revival, fueled by signs and wonders. They created a paradigm of Kingdom training through realms of deliverance and inner healing, evangelism, new modalities of church function, worship, and conceptions of a believer’s identity and authority. They learned to equip, train and send believers into cities and communities, which resulted in numerous church plants.

United Ministries International was birthed at the cusp of a church plant in Lake Tahoe in 1978-9, which became an apostolic hub. It was there, young leaders gathered, eager to be trained and sent. UMI was the corporate “covering” for these activities and over 100 leaders were deployed within a few short years. Churches sprang up not only in Reno and Carson City, NV, but also in Cottonwood, Indio, Ridgecrest, San Diego, and Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

MISSION STATEMENT

United Ministries International exists to equip people to do the work of God, the Father, and to establish the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. (Luke 4:18, 19)

VISION STATEMENT

To be biblically based in providing teaching and training, through a many-membered body of believers (I Cor. 12), with the intent of equipping people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, maturing in the knowledge of Him and dedicated to living their God-given purpose; thus touching their personal sphere of influence with Jesus’ transforming, redemptive power.

CORE BELIEFS

1. Worship and Adoration to King Jesus
We believe all of our worship and adoration belong to Him and Him only. As we worship, it brings us into intimacy with the Father.

2. Fatherhood
We believe in the ministry of “fatherhood” that calls forth, nurtures, and mentors people into maturity and their God-inspired purpose.

3. Millennium Seminary
We believe training is an absolute for maturing in Christ. Therefore, we offer online, free teachings on understanding the Kingdom of God. It is fresh bread that feeds and aligns people to the heart of Jesus.

4. Healing and Deliverance
We believe healing and deliverance is a vital component in the lives of people today. He sent us to bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom to those held captive and administer wholeness to their souls. The blood of Jesus is powerful and brings us back to what is our original design so we can be free to fulfill our call.

5. Intercession
We believe the ministry of prayer and intercession must be present in our lives daily. Thus, we can be attuned to the Father in a way that will release His power that will change our world with His Kingdom authority.

6. Creative Arts (All Forms)
We believe the arts are an expression of God's handiwork and God has uniquely gifted people to express His creativity.

7. Kingdom Community
We believe the assembling of ourselves together is essential as in Acts 2:42-47. It is a gathering where personal needs are met and unity resides, and all are free to exercise their gifts in humility, preferring one another above themselves.

Honoring Albie & Helen
"What is it then brothers and sisters? Whenever you come together, each one has a psalm, a teaching, a revelation, a tongue and an interpretation.
Let all things be done for edification."
